Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to support both Sunday events and essential administrative tasks throughout the week. The ideal candidate will bring a warm and welcoming presence, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to anticipate and address needs to ensure smooth operations. 

Hours:

  • Sunday: Required on-site to support services (hours may vary)
  • Tuesday: Preferred but flexible
  • Remaining hours: Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the role (total 8-24 hours per week)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sunday Services Support:
    Coordinate lunches, events, and logistics for Sunday services.
  • General Office Administration:
    Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the front office runs efficiently.
    • Answer phones and manage general email, directing inquiries as needed.
    • Monitor and manage office supplies, including snack and beverage inventory.
    • Handle clerical tasks, such as mailings and light communication support.
    • Operate standard office equipment and ensure maintenance is up to date.
  • Weekly Communications:
    Support the distribution of the weekly church bulletin and email newsletter.
  • Staff and Event Support:
    Assist in organizing monthly staff events and provide administrative support to the Worship Arts Director and other team members as needed.


Qualifications:

  • A growing and deepening faith in Jesus Christ, with a lifestyle reflecting integrity and commitment to faith.
  • 1-3 years of administrative experience (experience in a church setting is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office or G-Suite (Adobe InDesign is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Warm and welcoming demeanor, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and church members.

Reports to: Operations Manager 

Hours: up to 24 hours per week 
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
